Why Robert Downey Jr. Is Awesome #7

Some news from Comic-Con for Iron Man 3. Not only do we see the new suit but it's been confirmed Sir Ben Kingsley will play the Mandarin.

It was all yellow.

What do we think of the new suit? Well, it's just like the others really. A bit more yellow though.

RDJ complete with Iron Man hand.

Iron Man 3 seems to have come together really quickly (even though I know it's not out until next year) but let's hope it can build on The Avengers success. I have great faith in Shane Black.

We've also got the new titles for upcoming sequels; Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Thor: The Dark World. Looking forward to it Marvel.

Why Robert Downey Jr. Is Awesome #6

Marvel released a new photo on the set of Iron Man 3 last week. Now that the excitement of The Avengers has calmed a bit, this gives me something Marvel to look forward to.

NOT THE FACE.

Why the hell would you cover his face though??? Lovin' the suits behind him too.

Iron Man 3 is due out May 2013, so we've got a little wait ahead of us. But hopefully Gwyneth Paltrow will keep tweeting us pictures like the one below.

High hair.

Wish I could get my ponytail looking that good.

I'm not entirely sure where RDJ stops and Tony Stark begins anymore.

Why Robert Downey Jr. Is Awesome #4

I love this video. I don't even mind the song.

4 and a half minutes of pure RDJ-ness.

3 minutes and 20 seconds in... Not too shabby.

But I could have sworn he took his top of... Must have remembered it wrong.

Why Robert Downey Jr. Is Awesome #3

Continuing the run up to Avengers Thursday, my self proclaimed RDJ Week rolls on. Here are some amazing RDJ posters.

Yep, it's just another excuse for more pictures of RDJ. Nothing more.

My favourite? It's between The Singing Detective and the Sherlock Holmes one above.

Why Robert Downey Jr. Is Awesome #2

Trawling through the Internet looking for The Avengers premier videos I came across this little beauty I'd almost forgotten about. A little viral video for Tropic Thunder. Hence Ben Stiller and Jack Black.

RDJ can certainly move.

Choo choo!

Why Robert Downey Jr. Is Awesome #1

I love Robert Downey Jr. Sometimes I forget then I stumble upon something to remind me. What with a million Avengers premiers, interviews, photo shoots going on I thought it'd be good to just look at a few nice pictures.

That's it really.

Lovely.

Ace suit.

Lucky women.

Loving the glasses.

An even luckier women.

Do you think he even knows how great he is?

Just in case you've been hiding under a rock, here's Avengers Assemble trailer. With Iron Man!
