Sherlock series 3 has come and gone and we are still left wanting more.

So within the space of 10 days we have gorged on Sherlock and are left with nothing. Nothing but a feeling that we kinda want a little bit more. 

With everyone wanting to know how Sherlock survived his fall, there were always people who were going to be unhappy with the outcome. But did we actually get an outcome? Whether it was explained truthfully or not may never come out but what an energetic start to "The Empty Hearse." Any explanation that involves Derren Brown will always be a winner to me. 

As usual Martin Freeman steals most of the scenes with his quiet presence, but this series it seems Sherlock was more up for a laugh. The second episode "The Sign of Three" may have been a bit more hit and miss but it was funny and terribly sweet at one point. Benedict Cumberbatch has been nothing short of perfect again this series. 

To round off the series we had the big bad in the shape of Lars Mikkelsen and shocks plus twists galore. Like an actual snake Lars Mikkelsen was one person Sherlock actually hated. He even had his own “Mind Palace” of sorts, full of interesting facts at the ready to blackmail people. We also had the reveal that Mary has a secret past that could jeopardise her future with John. John however only wanted to look forward, considering she was pregnant was probably the best idea. 

Of course it wouldn’t be Sherlock without a twist, as if killing a man wasn’t one enough, we also had the revelation that Moriarty just might be alive. He was a great villain for Sherlock so this could be a stroke of genius. Steven Mofatt has said his appearance was not a last minute whim and that series 3 and 4 have been mapped out. That’s surely a good sign. Fans were gutted when he (seemed to) kill himself at the end of the last series. Lets just hope we don’t have to wait another 2 years for the next episode.

• Was it just me who thought it was completely brilliant when Sherlock had a girlfriend? He was pretty bad to her though, even by his standards. 

• So we have YET MORE CONSPIRACY THEORIES to enjoy till the show comes back. Great.

• "I've only been gone 4 minutes."

• Not sure how to feel about Mary and her double life. It will surely come up again in the future. 

• Sherlock’s parents. Amazing.

• Benedict Cumberbatch has a real flair for comedy, the guy is funny.

True Blood season 5 started on Monday night on FX and you can call it a lot of things but subtle isn’t one of them. Full of sex, blood and creative swearing it’s still not for the faint hearted.

Ultimate DVD Collection #2 Clue

Now, I'm not saying these are the greatest films ever, I'm not even saying they're particularly very good but I love them for one reason or another and they get watched a fair bit in our household.

Henry IV Part 1 Was On TV Last Night With Tom Hiddleston...

And I'm not sure what it was but I was finding that jacket very sexy...

Tom Hiddleston did look VERY attractive in it. I hope it features more in Henry V.

The Hollow Crown: Henry IV Part 1 is repeated tonight on BBC4 9pm. Seriously, check him out it that jacket and for a brilliant Jeremy Irons impression.

Peter Andre's Bad Boyfriends Club and Other Shit ITV Have Said "Yes Let's Commission That, I Want An Early Lunch."

After the disaster of Mark Wright's Hollywood Nights and the drubbing that followed it you would think ITV might want to do something a bit different with their new shows. Some new blood and original ideas. Well. You're wrong. The first totally original idea is Peter Andre's Bad Boyfriends Club (NO IT'S NOTHING LIKE E4'S TOOL ACADEMY). He's going to turn the nations hopeless boyfriends into hopeless romantics. 

Never has there been someone so untalented but oh so smug.

Calling all ladies!! Is your boyfriend "always watching the football over your shoulder? Does he take less pride in his appearance than he did when you first started dating?" If YOUR relationship is suffering Pete will help!! Yeah, because I'll take advice from a divorced father of 2 who "conveniently" only dates girls who are signed to the same PR company. I mean, really. Here's an idea girls. If you're dating a big fat waste of space who loves football/his mates/everything else more than you, don't call Peter Andre. Just dump the loser. Because I can guarantee if your boyfriend doesn't listen to you, he sure as hell won't listen to Peter "Insania" Andre. 

What else has ITV up their sleeves?? Dear god, Surprise Surprise is back for a one off special. With Holly "I really don't think I'm on TV enough" Willoughby. It took us long enough to get rid of this shit, why bring it back?

We've got AN AMAZING (yes they use capital letters) new comedy hypnotism game show called I Know What You Did Last Week. A nice, threatening title for a show with Rufus Hound who was found wondering the halls of ITV2 after he didn't want to be on Celebrity Juice any more. I was just thinking we could do with a new hypnotism game show too! It's just an excuse to laugh at idiots who think this kind of show would be a good idea, mainly the after pub crowd. Unless it's got Paul McKenna in it, I don't want it. 

My favourite must be a show called The Resort. They want to pack off some young people to a beach resort and see what happens. It's TOWIE on a beach (again). So a bit like Made In Chelsea, TOWIE and Geordie Shore but it'll be less regional. 

Good luck ITV, you're going to need it. 

Twitter Accounts I Find Most Entertaining At The Moment

I love Twitter, I can literally spend hours on there (and regularly do). As much as I like talking to my friends it's such a great way to socialise and network. And also semi-stalk (in a totally non-threatening way, obviously) celebrities. It's amazing. And who doesn't love a good #hashtag??


Now some people on Twitter just don't get it; the worst offenders are accounts that are obviously ran by their publicist. The whole point of Twitter is to interact with people. Why be on it if all you are going to do is plug your latest song/ film/ eyelashes/ children's story book collection? I've put together a Top 5 of my favourite Tweeters of the moment; people who are actually interesting, well written blogs, cool actors and even a shop. You probably follow them but let me tell you why I follow them.

5. @WstonesOxfordSt Waterstones on Oxford Street.

Okay, they can be a bit weird sometimes when they go off on one but most of their tweets always raise a smile. I thought it was a spoof account for a while but seems to be genuine (I think). Quirky, cool and not a hint of crummy offers, it's well worth a follow.

They want to destroy the Kindle too.

4. @richardosman Richard Osman, everyone's "Pointless friend".

Richard Osman is hilarious, the banter between him and Alexander Armstrong on Pointless makes the show. His tweets can sometimes be a bit random (there was a World Cup of crisps at one point- forget who won), but anyone informing me of The Chuckle Brothers being on TV is a-okay by me.

3. @dsrealitybites Digital Spy Reality Bites Blog.

If you watch as much reality TV as me, there really is no excuse not to follow DS Reality Bites. They are great to tweet along with when any reality shows are on. Funny and with a memory like an elephant (Bring Back Gamu was a popular hash tag during the last series of The X Factor), Reality Bites is a must for fans of The Apprentice, BGT, I'm A Celeb and the like. Get involved.

There are many more acts you've forgotten but DS Reality Bites hasn't.

2. @TheRock The Rock, wrestler slash actor.

Honestly, you'll find it hard to find someone more inspiring in their tweets (maybe not the one below so much). There are some really motivational words going on. He also has loads of pictures (everyone loves a good Twitpic) and info on his films. And as we all know if you put The Rock in your movie franchise it automatically gets better by about 57% (or something). EXAMPLE: Fast & Furious, Journey To..., G.I Joe; maybe more...?

I'm a little bit in love with Tom Hiddleston at the moment; this is the reason I love Twitter. You follow people but it's playful interest-taking. And to be fair, if they didn't want anyone knowing anything about them, they wouldn't be on Twitter would they? That's my story anyway. With lots of interest still in The Avengers/ Avengers Assemble it's nice to see actors who are obviously incredibly popular at the moment to actually read and reply to messages from people (not from me but hey, I don't want to come across as a total mentalist.) He sends some really adorable tweets and also some cryptic ones about an up and coming project. Cute, articulate and oh-so-smart, I love looking for his tweets on my timeline. My god I might explode by the time Thor 2 comes around.

Return Of The Old School Vampires?

What with Tim Burton's Dark Shadows out today it got me thinking, where have all the old school vampires gone? Twilight defiantly hasn't helped the blood thirsty image of vampires. Whatever they say in the films and books about how "dangerous" they are, really they're toothless. And a bit too pretty. As far as I can think (and be bothered to research) Interview With The Vampire started this whole romantic vampires thing; Twilight just took it to the next level. Supernatural did a great send up of these toothless/ romantic vamps in the episode Live Fast or Twihard, even Sam and Dean couldn't escape Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner for long. 

A couple of months back I got to watch The Monster Squad at The Prince Charles Theatre, London (a Goonies-esq 80s kids flick... With a 15 certificate) and in it was Dracula. A proper old school Dracula with a cape and one of those medals you used to win at swimming galas.

What happened to those vampires? Maybe it was just Dracula who looked like that... Johnny Depp's vampire doesn't look too vicious in Dark Shadows either. 

At least in True Blood they are up front at how deadly they are. They abide by the law but they can kill if they need too. But again, they are ultra modern and rather too good looking. 

Twilight rediscovered vampires to a tween audience but maybe they should go watch Buffy if they like teen angst and the supernatural. While not the best episode, Buffy Vs Dracula always sticks in my mind. Dracula is a proper old school vampire; he even turns into a bat! Buffy can't kill him but they come to a happy medium- they just agree to stay out each others way. 

Buffy did teen angst vs vampires over 10 years ago- the original angst-ridden vamp? How about Angel?? Some kids need to get a clue.

There have been loads of vampire films the last few years: Daybreakers (cool, urban vampires), Fright Night (handymen vampires) and a few more out this year (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) and TV shows; The Vampire Diaries, Blood Ties, Moonlight to name but a few. Vampires are still big business.  I would just like to see a bit more classical bloodsuckers with big swooshy capes, slicked back hair and can turn into a bat.

Love 'em or loath 'em vampires aren't going anywhere but I'm hoping they start going back to the roots a bit more. We've also got Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, and at least they have the Volturi, they're quite traditional. Shame they are all shiny in the sun though, that really lets them down. 

A Non-Returning Misfit, X Factor Global Commitments and Amanda Holden Being Kind Of A Bitch

Lots of stories floating round Celebville this week and some not too nice at all.

No more Kelly unfortunately. 

A story I had no idea was going on concluded in court this week when Lauren Socha (Kelly in Misfits) pleaded guilty to racially aggravated assault on a taxi driver. It's such a sad story; one, it's a truly horrible attack and something I would never wish on anybody and two; why would she do this when she had such a promising acting career in front of her? She was my (and many others) favourite character, so in a totally obvious move, E4 have confirmed she will not be returning to the new series. She also won a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress last year so was clearly going places. E4 did say that her return was agreed months ago and is not connected to conviction but I find that hard to swallow. So that leaves Curtis as the only original (and possibly the dullest) character left in Misfits. But I'll wait and see, I was proved wrong when Nathan left so hopefully there's life in the show yet.

She can stop doing that as well.

In other news we've definitely got a new judge on The X Factor along with 3 returning ones. Not sure what Louis Walsh has over Simon Cowell but there he is, once again. Tulisa (her sex tape has literally done her only good) and miserable dad figure Gary Barlow is back. So that just leaves poor old Kelly Rowland out in cold. Her spokesman says it's down to her "global commitments" I say it's more to do with the the sickie she pulled last year. I've heard some excuses but I'm going to use "global commitments" next time I need to get out of a fix. It's a shame as she started off as a great judge but something happened to her on the live shows; people just ended up hating her. At least she can be rest assured that she will never be as terrible at Alexandra Burke. Again, I found Gary and Tulisa much better in the earlier stages. Tulisa especially turned out not to be so smart with her comments; Misha B and "Bully-gate" come to mind.

Another story that caught my eye was Amanda Holden saying that she has watched Tulisa's sex tape. OK, why are you telling us that? Even if she was asked about it she could have politely declined to answer. And then she said it was Alesha who sent it to her. Kind of a douche thing to do; Alesha Dixon wasn't there to defend herself, so why would Amanda bring her into it? Not really fair on Tulisa either who has been pretty honest and upfront with it and I think just wants to forget it. It just makes Amanda look nasty and bitter; she always seems so jealous of other women. She wasn't very nice about Kelly Brook when she was on the Britain's Got Talent panel for about 4 days. It seems a really sly and underhanded thing to say when everyone else has moved on; it's not like her past is whiter than white. Check yourself Holden before you wreck yourself; you won't be in Cowell's favour forever.

ITV2 Is The Reason We Can't Have Nice Things

I'm pretty sure that this is the mantra of ITV2.  I have a love/hate relationship with ITV2. Yes, I can watch TOWIE and know who's going out with who, I can even sit through Judge Judy and I don't mind catching American Idol when it's on. But what I hate, hate HATE is the way everything links. And most of it is to do with reality TV.

The titles that literally took 5 seconds to think of, Britain's Got MORE Talent (debatable), The XTRA Factor (it's on long enough), the tediously titled I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here... NOW! and Take Me Out: The Gossip (Take Me Out... AGAIN would have been better). I watch the sister shows on ITV1, I enjoy them, some of the time, but these "spin-offs" are beyond shit.

And what about the presenters? Well, we have cheeky chappy (read: extremely annoying) Olly Murs presenting The Xtra Factor after appearing on The X Factor and now he has a new reality show Olly: Life on Murs. A show I'm sure that they came up with the title first then decided let's just film his tour. Oh! And get the fans involved via Twitter!! Twitter keeps ITV2 in ideas.

I hate men in hats. 

Then we've got Take Me Out: The Gossip with TOWIE's Mark Wright. I'm not really sure why other than he has been on an ITV2 programme. I remember I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here... Now! had Matt Willis presenting it,  after he won it one year but now they've got some girl and a couple of lame comedians.

AND THEN THERE'S THE REALITY TV SHOWS. Like previously mentioned, Olly: Life On Murs and the ground breaking Peter Andre: My Life are the biggest shows on ITV2 at the moment. On Peter Andre's show we learn he loves his Ferrari, his music, his fans AND DON'T FORGET THE KIDS. Also CAN Associates client and ex girlfriend Elen Rivers might just pop in for a cup of tea. And I'm guessing you'll probably see other CAN clients Amy Childs and husband and wife team Nicola McLean & Tom Williams who Pete just happens to be BEST FRIENDS WITH.

And possibly the most heinous offender, Celebrity Juice. I'll be honest, I've seen the show and sometimes Keith Lemon is funnier than he ought to be. But why the hell are Fern Cotton and Holly Wiloughby on it? Oh, because she's on ITV1's flagship daytime TV programme! And she's dragged her best friend along. Neither are funny, in fact they are painfully unfunny and this show really doesn't sit well with Holly's cosy family life she's built up on This Morning, so much so I'm surprised ITV1 would want her doing it at all. It's rude and crude and they look like idiots; we're laughing at you not with you. And what about the guests? Well just this year we've had Christine Bleakly (Daybreak), Phillip Schofield (This Morning), Jonathan Ross (The Jonathan Ross Show), Chris Fountain (Coronation Street and Dancing on Ice), Matt Cardle (X Factor winner), Caroline Flack (The Xtra Factor) I COULD GO ON!

They've all gone to the same hairdresser. 

I'm all for a bit of synergy but not to the point when Corrie and Jeremy Kyle have a cross over. (THIS HAPPENED). It's just sometimes it's a bit too much ITV, don't be afraid to look a bit further a field for different ideas. If you rely on BGT, I'm A Celeb... and The X Factor for ideas then you'll come unstuck sooner rather than later.

Peter Andre And The Last Chapter

I understand some people like Peter Andre. He seems like a nice guy, he's defiantly portrayed that way. What I can't understand is why some people want to know what has been going on in his life since the last series of ITV2's Peter Andre: My Life.

Now he "talks" (via a friend) about a dancer he may (OR MAY NOT) be dating.

Oh look it's February and that dancer has fallen in love with him.

Apparently it's his ex-wife who has an obsession with him, unlike he WHO HARDLY EVER MENTIONS IT.

One of the most misleading headlines I've ever read. And why the hell is he drenched in water?? What the hell does that mean? And you say he's only speaking to OK! but I think not...

Come April, his (contractually obliged) relationship has come to an end. Nothing to do with the fact no one really gave a hoot.

But the question on all our lips is... DOES HE LOVE HIS KIDS??? 

Maybe I WILL watch the new TV show to find out!!

Samantha Brick... How to Get The World Talking

So I think everyone has an opinion on Samantha Brick. On Tuesday she wrote this article on the Daily Mail website on why it's so hard to be a beautiful women in society today. There's been over 5000 comments on the story on the website alone and then there’s the awful lot of Twitter messages she has had too.

I have to be honest, when I first read it I was "Who does this women think she is??" Beauty is in the eye of the behold and all that but these eyes saw someone who was pretty plain, not ugly, but not someone you would not stop in the street.

People shouldn't be angry with her because she's said "I am beautiful." I agree women should be proud of their looks (whatever people think) but maybe be a bit less arrogant. The stuff about men paying for her train ticket, her taxi fare and a pilot sending over bubbly on a flight... Well. I'm not calling her a liar but... I don't know how to finish that sentence.

Some of the photos are fantastic. They truly are the naffest ones they could find! The photos are the reason I think this is all rubbish. It's just an excuse to get people to look at the Daily Mail. Or maybe the Daily Mail just hate women. I remember an article a couple of months ago about the sperm stealing women (she was obviously mental). What really winds me up is that these women think they are talking for ALL WOMEN. Let me tell you now guys and girls… THEY ARE NOT.

The other thing that I am annoyed at though is the sweeping generalisation that ALL women hate each other especially the pretty ones. That’s total rubbish. If at 40+ it seemed all women hated me, I might stop blaming others and have a good look at myself.

It's a difficult one. It does seem that this was written for the sole purpose of getting people talking (Daily Mail- the troll?). I can't believe she is that delusional in real life. It's nice she thinks she is pretty but shut up about it now. She also didn’t come across all that well on This Morning, most of that being the women who sat next top her was much MUCH prettier, and she was saying women don’t hate her.

Samantha must have been treated as some kind of princess most of her life, but people just don’t like hearing how FANTASTIC you are. They automatically will not like you.

I think the Daily Mail were just setting her up for a fall.

He's my Pointless friend...

I love quizzes. TV quizzes, pub quizzes, quiz machines, newspaper quizzes. QUIZ! Maybe that makes me an 85 year old women who waits for Countdown everyday but I don’t care. It’s like learning (sort of). I like to think I’ve got a good general knowledge. But where I think I excel is in my movie knowledge. And my favourite quiz show on TV at the moment is Pointless. Anyone who doesn’t know this show; you are missing a treat. Hosted by Alexander Armstrong and assisted by his Pointless friend Richard Osman the aim of the game is to try and get an answer no one else can think of. It used to languish on BBC 2 but the powers that be knew they had something special and moved it to BBC 1. Now in HD!

It’s amazingly entraining. Alexander and Richard are a great duo, they have an array of contestations and a broad range of questions. So, Pointless isn’t exclusively film questions but I love it when they turn up to test my knowledge. Me and my other half are always bitterly disappointed when we don't get a Pointless film answer. I always think maybe we should apply but we’d be gutted if we didn’t get any movie questions. We would be rubbish at Geography (A level be damned!). The only answers I could give are ones I remember from other Pointless shows- Congo, Central Republic of Africa, St Vincent and the Grenadines.

My favourite answer was when, from a list, you had to guess what book a character was from. The book title would also be a description of the character as an extra clue. Bilbo Baggins was the character, so what did the contestant say? “Bilbo Baggins played Frodo in Lord of the Rings.” What an answer. The subjects of trousers was also a highlight.

Also, why do people always want to see musicals are a subject? They are always rubbish at them.
The last round is when they have to choose a topic and find just one Pointless answer with 3 tries. I wish they would put all the Pointless answers online, just to test my knowledge.

The other day the final round subject was Film. How we laughed, until the question came up. Name the actors in The Great Escape; we literally had no idea, apart from the obvious. We had failed at Pointless on a film question. It’s unusual for us both to know nothing on a film. We were gutted. It’s now on our Lovefilm list.

We still love Pointless, and Pointless Celebrities is the greatest title of a TV show ever. Well done for not calling it Celebrity Pointless.

And don’t forget, by country we mean a sovereign state as recognised by the UN.

Englishman (Sherlock) in New York

So it was announced yesterday that Jonny Lee Miller would star in the much talked about CBS pilot Elementary. We’ve already had Sue Vertue, producer of BBC’s Sherlock (and wife of Stephen Moffat) say that she is “extremely worried” about another modern take on the famous detective. She’s got a point, it had been a little while since there have been any Sherlock adaptations then 2 come along at once in the shape of Robert Downey Jr.’s Hollywood vehicle then the slick and ultra modern BBC version with Benedict Cumberbatch.

In some bizarre “circle of showbiz” (as I’m going to call it) Jonny Lee Miller starred along side Benedict Cumberbatch in the National Theatre’s production of Frankenstein, where each night they played alternate roles of Victor and the monster. Again, Sue Vertue has been quoted as saying that Jonny Lee Miller is a “very fine actor” but says “Let’s hope their pilot script has stayed further away from our Sherlock than their casting choice.” I wonder what Benedict thinks of it all.

It seems a bit unfair to lambast a show before anyone has even seen a pilot and I know I will at least watch that. The thing about the BBC version is that it seems such an obvious choice, setting it in modern day London and one I can’t believe hasn’t been done before. He is quintessentially British though so having him as an American (I assume) will be odd. But if you are going to have the world’s most famous detective star in another show, you could be in worst cities than New York. The thing the BBC version has going for it is the lack of fog and horse drawn carriages plus the amazing casting of Benedict and Martin Freeman as Watson. No word on the casting of Watson yet but that will be just as important as Sherlock.

I had reservations about the BBC version. I thought they were just jumping on the band wagon of Guy Ritchie’s film but I couldn’t have been more wrong. I also thought the score was VERY similar (although I’ll happily admit I prefer the BBC version).

Holmes and Watson the Hollywood version. 

There is a place in the world for both RDJ and Benedict’s Sherlocks. RDJ is fantastic as an eccentric Sherlock, a lot more likable and maybe slightly easier to get on with but he still likes to show off. Benedict’s Sherlock is a lot harder to like first off. He takes his time to soften; very much a loner he doesn’t realise it automatically that he actually appreciates having Watson around. But that’s just scratching the surface of each actors’ performance.

They are two quiet different takes on the same character but they complement each other really well. I just don’t know if there’s room for a third Sherlock Holmes in as many years.

Well, there was that The Asylum version...

Prince Charming, a Couple of Aussies and Silent Cinema : The BAFTAs 2012

Ah the BAFTAs. The biggest night of the year for British cinema, shown on a 2 hour delay on the BBC. Well done everybody.

Apart from that ridiculous oversight, it was a good night. We had The Artist win big, Colin Firth proving that there are real life Prince Charmings out there and Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe being genuinely funny (“Rusty”, “Jacko”).

Stephen Fry was a delight as the host. Personally I was never a fan of Jonathan Ross, he didn’t seem to fit in with the prestige of the BAFTAs where as Stephen Fry just oozes class and is an all round smart guy.

I thought Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy would maybe have won a few more; BAFTA has been known to slightly favour British films over others in recently years. I admit; I thought Gary Oldman would have walked away with the Best Actor BAFTA. Not that I mind Jean Dujardin winning; the more I think about his role in The Artist the more I think it was amazing. He’s a funny guy and I loved that he mentioned Benny Hill.

Smooth operator. 

George Clooney and Brad Pitt were there but I never felt they had a chance of winning. It’s nice to have some actual Hollywood stars there too. Especially when I kept seeing Dermot “Smug” O’Leary and Fearne “How do I keep getting these jobs?” Cotton. They really should not have been sitting with ‘The Talent’. It’s embarrassing for everybody.

Colin Firth proved to everybody what we all assumed he was; a true gent. Running after a lost high heel and then helping the (Iron) lady into said shoe, it was a lovely moment.

Why the BBC cram a handful of awards basically over the end credits, I really don’t know. And I thought they were quite big awards- Animated Film, Film Not In The English Language, Cinematography? No, the BBC don’t think so. Bit of a shame. The Oscars don’t get treated like this.
Maybe next year we can see the BAFTAs live; I really don’t think they need to worry about a group of middle-aged British actors running amok, swearing and causing havoc. They’ve watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy; they are probably the most well behaved group of people ever.

One last thing. Gary Oldman? Looking boss. (That’s what the kids say, right?)

We're ready to believe you!

I'm a film watcher, DVD enthusiast, celebrity magazine reader, TV fanatic, book reader, RDJ fan, Jurassic Park addict, Nintendo devotee, reality TV follower, a professional Mario Kart driver, part time Ghostbuster and all round SingStar.

There are lots of TV shows I'm enjoying at the moment. Namely The X Factor, Misfits, I'm A Celeb, to name but a few. Also loved the last series of Celebrity (in the loosest term possible) Coach Trip and Derren Brown: The Experiments. Started watching Life's Too Short, which, while it may have it's critics at the moment, I thought the first episode was funny.

And yes I see there's loads of reality TV but I do like other stuff! Curb Your Enthusiasm, 30 Rock, The US Office, The Simpsons (I could be the only one though), How I Met Your Mother- so also a lot of American shows. I also love classics like I'm Alan Partridge, Black Books, Spaced among others.

The last film I saw at the cinema was The Adventures of Tintin, which was fantastic. The mo-cap was brilliant and I can see why they thought it would work better like this. And I loved Snowy!

The last DVD I bought was Supernatural Season 6. I love Sam and Dean, and this season had some classic episodes which I think I will blog about when I've re-watched them. Just to name check two of my favourites- Live Free or Twihard and The French Mistake.

DINOSAUR! 

My favourite films include Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters.

I love reading and am currently reading One Day and The Hunger Games. I read a lot of books adapted into films.

Looking forward to Fincher's The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo, Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows and The Muppets.

So the blog will be a mix of all this. Oh, and celebrity gossip. I LOVE celebrity gossip. And Busted, I'm going to spearhead their reunion.
